Trying times

Right now, I have heavy burdens weighing me down but tomorrow will be a better day.

1. My aunt has inoperable cancer that she is refusing any life lengthening treatment for.

2. My mom goes to Barrows Neurological Institute today to meet with a brain surgeon because her vertebrae is pressing on her brain which could lead to loss of speech and the loss of her ability to swallow. She says surgery is not an option.

3. My vet who I love, worship and adore is moving his practice to Colorado. I'm not sure where I will go but if you knew him you would know why this is so devastating.

On the other hand, I am happy, healthy, have a home that is in no danger of being foreclosed, have a job and have a good man (plus two good dogs). How can I even complain?

in re 2: that is why I am glad I do not have a brain! as to your mom and aunt: at times like these people with faith have a big advantage over those without

Yes, there are always brighter days ahead. It is just hard to see them sometimes. We can just about always find we have it better than others no matter what.....

This is big time traumatic stuff, but you seem to be handling it well. Remember to take your vitimins especially multi b and a little extra c, and remember to take care of yourself.
Know that all your blogger friends are sending you their best thoughts and prayers.

Well, dogone QD. I thought I left a comment here! I just wanted you to know that I join all your blogger friends in sending you and your Mom and your Aunt our best wishes, thoughts and prayers.
You have a wonderful attitude to help fight stress, but a little extra vitimin c and some b complex really help with that.
Thke good care of yourself!
