What I am working on

I have been working on what I hope will be a bright and sunny quilt. It was a free pattern from psIquilt. The blocks were a huge 15" which made it go fairly quickly. Even though the photo makes it look like I am far from finished, the quilt top is actually complete (just did not take a photo of it.)

In other news, last week I had my first colonoscopy. Everyone told me that the preparation was the worst and the actual procedure was nothing. Actually, the whole thing was nothing. The prep was not horrible at all. The fasting part was even not that bad.

One of my attorneys got prostate cancer when he was 40 and he has been battling it for 10 years. After listening to him, I immediately filled out the colorectal doctor's paperwork and set up the appointment that I had been putting off for a year. Good thing too. The doc told me she had to remove a large polyp during the procedure which turned out to be pre-cancerous. Now, I have to have these done every three years. I am very thankful I did not put this off another year.

Thank you for stopping by. I am at this time packing my sewing things to set in storage so my daughter and grand daughter can move in for a while. Although I now work full time I will still miss my STUFF around for a bit.
