Death of a Terrorist

When I heard of the death of Osama Bin Laden, I didn't know how to express what I was feeling because I was not happy or elated as I thought I would be when that time came. Instead, I found a quote from Martin Luther King, Jr. that said in his words, pretty much what I was feeling. Am I glad, Bin Laden is no longer in the world to continue spewing vile, yes, but...

"I mourn the loss of thousands of precious lives, but I will not rejoice in the death of one, not even an enemy. Returning hate for hate multiplies hate, adding deeper darkness to a night already devoid of stars. Darkness cannot drive out darkness: only light can do that. Hate cannot drive out hate: only love can do that."-Martin Luther King, Jr
