Some shots from the new camera

Every morning, hummingbirds come to our fountain to drink and splash around. Since the new camera came with a telephoto lens, I have been out taking pictures of these little guys.. Not sure what kind they are and they aren't very colorful but they are still cute as the dickens.

Click on the photos to make them larger. In this one, you can see the water droplets flying off.

And here is a finch thrown in for good measure.

Dive bomber.

I think those are rare South American humming birds. Where do you live?

Anonymous:Well, currently they are living in Phoenix, Arizona. I have heard from another source that they might be juvenile blue throated hummingbirds who rarely come to the U.S.

Sylvia: Thanks. Not so good. Have a lot of learning to do.
