Snowflakes

The call was sent out to machine embroiders world wide to make free standing lace snowflakes and send them to a Connecticut PTA in order for it to create a winter wonderland for the children's return to school in Sandy Hook. Even though this in no way could make up for what occurred there, I thought it was a nice gesture. Plus, it did make me feel good to do this. So here are the snowflakes I made and shipped off. I heard yesterday that they are no longer accepting snowflakes since they don't need anymore. Hope mine arrived in time for their use.

Amazing! My heart breaks for the children who must be so afraid to return to school, and for the parents who must be so scared to send them!!
