Always read the directions first

I was so excited to make this tablerunner. The blocks were on point with setting triangles and it looked really nice with the embroidery. Unfortunately, after I had embroidered all the blocks and sewed the sashing to the middle block, I figured out that I did not have enough purple. So, I had to figure something else out and this is what I came up with.





So, it always helps to read the directions first and make sure you have enough fabric before starting a project.
