A few handmade items...by me and others

So, the sewing mojo is coming back slowly but surely. But now, I am off on a knitting adventure. My friend Sylvia showed me how to knit because I wanted to try this crazy yarn. Kind of loud in the color choice but I like it. It took me a looooonnnngg time too but now it's done and I'm ready for more. .

The above and below pics show an in-the-hoop table runner I made at the Sew In last week. I started it back in February and finally finished it. It would be better if it were a tad longer but who knew . (sorry for the scew up here. Just messing around..

This wall hanging was made by my friend, Lynn. What a lot of work this was and I so love it. She calls him "Pugasso"

I was the winner of the place mats above and below. They were being raffled off at the Sew In and used half of my raffle tickets for these because I really wanted them. Turns out, my friend Sylvia made them. Same person who taught me to knit.

Fantastic job on knitting that convoluted mesh yarn. Hope you friends appreciate what a quick study you are. (And that applies to all your skills!)

Aw...those place mats look good there.
